"Once in a while I find myself with tools that should arguably be in everyone’s toolbox. These drivers are definitely in that category. In fact, they’re in a class all their own. There are drivers out there with features that might be more desirable. In my opinion however, NONE are more durable. We’re generally taught two things to never do with a screwdriver. One is to use them as a chisel and the other is as a pry bar. These are actually designed for that purpose.

They are definitely not amateur tools or in any way gimmicky. You can feel comfortable striking them with a heavy framing hammer. I can do almost anything with them that I’d otherwise avoid with a “standard” screwdriver. They are not lightweights. That’s particularly true with the slotted tip. There is a noticeable difference in weight between the two. The flip side is that they’re serious tools that you wouldn’t mind hitting with a hammer. They are very ergonomic and feel like they mean business.

If given a choice, there are probably two things that I’d change. First, I’d prefer the slotted tip to be 1/16 smaller. A ¼ inch tip would be more versatile and fit more fasteners in my opinion. It would be a small tradeoff with the chiseling aspect, but I think it’d be worth it. The other change would be to add a hex collar at the base of the shafts. That would allow for additional torque with a wrench when necessary.

Those are small nit picks however, and unjustified when you consider the price. These are an unbeatable value, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone."
