best shower for the money Date: September 7, 2009
"this is by far the most inexpensive, and yet
fully functional shower for the money.
I paid $119.00 at my local ace hardware.
It took about an hour to assemble by myself.
No leaks and beats the other best price by 200
bucks. I could not have built a better myself.
The Mustee is a musthave.
Highly recommended

Mustee 32" shower Date: February 7, 2009
"I am very pleased with this shower for the money, however the faucet that comes with it is garbage. I bought a good faucet at Home depot for $38. I would also like to put a door on this shower but I did not see them listed on doitbest.com"

"I purchased the E.L. Mustee model #68 with delivery to local ACE Hardware store for $109.00. The shower fit nicely onto my wooden base which elevated the shower approx. 5 inches. The manual says one person can assemble it but I needed assistance from one other person. I don't see how one person could possibly do it. The parts are adequate for the job which is to say they will not enhance the beauty of the shower but do provide functionality. You get what you pay for with this type of shower. For the money spent I think it was a great purchase. It replaced an older version of a 32" knockdown shower. This one seems to be better built. I also ordered the shower door as an afterthought after we assembled the shower because with the door it just makes the shower better to keep water in and it improves on the appearance. The only downside to the shower I've found out so far is that the plastic faucet for the "cold" water is now leaking. It has to do with the seal inside which is broken because of excessive pressure from turning off. Othewise, with gentle use or a better faucet valve system this can be a great shower. Like I said before you get what you pay for. The only trouble in assembling the shower came when there was 1 screw on each of the panels that we just couldn't get in the hole. The shower panels are secure and it doesn't leak which is my main concern. I did use a different shower head than what was provided. If I had to buy another one I probably would maybe I would buy one with better plumbing accessories though."
