"Personally, I clean the fireplace insert (prior to the insert I'd clean the fireplace glass enclosures) with a soot cleaner. Then I would follow up with the Hearth & Grill Conditioning Glass Cleaner with Silicone. It completely cleaned the residue left by the soot cleaner product and makes the next cleaning of the glass a breeze--must be because of the silicone. It is an excellent product! I'm so glad that I found a location in the area that carries it (Menards, Fleet Farm, Home Depot, etc., do not).""
