Safety overload switch with caution light. Automatically shuts off if unit overheats. The power cord is heavy-duty SJT 3 wire, 3 prong jacketed and grounded. No adaptor is available and none should be used. Dark gray with almond sides. Convenient carry handle. 15" W. x 12" D. x 18-1/2" H.

Great Value 220 v heating unit

"This heater works great, the adjustable thermastat is a nice extra, I have a motel with very large rooms, 15 x 27 and occassionally our heater-air units goes out this unit plugs right into the wall jack and actually heats up the room quicker than our main unit itself. Only takes about 20 minutes on a cold day from no heat to warm, customers love these units for quick heat."

"I have used one of these heaters in a small hobby greenhouse for the past three winter seasons. I just took it out of storage and now have it set up for this winter. It tested perfect. I'll be buying two more soon...one for backup and one for another small greenhouse that I built. I use an external thermostat (White-Rogers type 2A37)with the heater to give me better on-off differential control. It works great like that. I would recommend this heater to anyone that needs to heat a small space without having to burn up."
