Watts Water Technologies PURGE AND DRAIN VALVE

Used on boiler return piping to remove air from heating zones on initial fill and to control water flow thru circulation loop. Also serves as a shut off & drain valve for each zone or loop. The uniques, low cost solution for start-up, high volume purging, accurate ballancing, tight shutoff, and hose connection draining of hydronic heating loops. They feature a bronze body with 1/4 turn ball valve. Working pressure of 50 P.S.I. Maximum inlet temperature of 250 F. Will purge a 500' loop in 10 seconds.

"A good product -- works exactly as advertised. For radiant heating loops, this valve is worth installing just upstream of the return manifold connection on every loop. Purges all air from the loop very quickly, and allows you to isolate loops in a second."
