heavy duty, lots of bang for the buck

"This tool might seem a little pricey, but it is definitely heavy duty, industrial strength. There are a few other crimpers on the market, but they don't provide the kind of firm enclosure of wires that this does with the matching sleeves. This is absolutely great for tying together "grounding conductors" as they're called in the NEC. The NEC demands irreversable pressure connectors for grounds, and this definitely provides that. It might be a bit much for only one or two splices, but if you're updating the electric on a whole house like I am, or you do it professionally, it's probably worth it."
