"This simple, yet ingenious product has saved me so much frustration. I have my television and VCR plugged in to an outlet that is controlled by a wall switch. This was done accidentally, but the entertainment unit is too heavy to move easily, so I leave it the way it is. Until I found this product, I turned off my TV by mistake so many times and then would have to go through reprogramming the remote, etc. Now, the problem is solved easily and cheaply. Whoever invented this is a genius and I thank them from the bottom of my heart."

"I purchased a few of these years ago at a Valu Store. Haven't been able to find them since. They are perfect for sensor lights that need to be left on (since no one ever knows how to reset them). Also great when wall plugs operate with a switch and need to be left on when clocks or digital items (or a sump pump) are plugged into that circuit. I am elated that I finally found them. This sight is permanently in my favorites:)"

"RE: National Switchlock, N280-842, GSWLKBC

At the retirement facility where I work, several of the rooms are wired wtih some outlets controlled by the entry switch. When the folks plug their portable phones into one of these outlets and turn off the switch, the phone does not work. We respond to the trouble report and simply flip the switch. We have installed several of these simple devices and no longer have that problem.
