Installing this unit!

"Installation on this unit is a nighmare!! There is NO installation kit for the new vinyl windows with a lip. This unit is ONLY for OLD windows with flush sills. I had to hire someone to install this unit and he had to build a platform and do lots of custom fitting to get it to work! I phoned the manufacturer and they were not interested in the problem and simply said there is no installation kit for these windows. I was hoping to install this unit myself but that was impossible! BEWARE of the type of windows you have. Otherwise the uint cools a small space just fine."
