"I have been using Fels Naptha in my homemade detergent for a while. I works wonderfully. At first I was skeptical because there was no suds, but was surprised at how well it cleans.

In a large container, I mix 3 bars (one finely grated bar is approx. 2 cups) of finely grated bar of Fels Naptha with 3 cups of 20 Mule Team Borax and 3 cups of Arm & Hammer Washing soda. I shake it up before each use and use one TBSP for each large load of laundry. If the laundry is really dirty, I will use two TBSP."

"I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS TO PEOPLE WITH POISON SUMACK AND POISON IVY. IT WORKS WONDERFULLY.

RUB THE BAR ON YOUR INFECTED AREAS AND LET SIT FOR 2 MINUTES AND RINSE AND REPEAT. ALSO DO THIS 2 X A DAY.

IT WILL LOOK VERY RED BUT THE SOAP IS STRONG AND SO FIRST USE IT ON A SMALL AREA ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE VERY VERY SENSATIVE SKIN."

"My family uses this wonderful soap each time we are done with yard work...belive it or not it gets rid of poison ivy, poison oak ect. Its better then anything we've tried....Its the first thing we go to if we think we have poison ivy/oak ect. Its even better then Aveno!"
