"If you put these in the ground next to your tomatoes (two per plant and two more around the fourth of July and again in late August) that's all the fertilizer you need. It's a little expensive couldn't use on a big farm. I usually have about 20 plants. It saves a lot of time. Good for a lot of other plants too peppers eggplants flowering plants in containers. High phosphorus low nitrogen brings on the blooms and fruit. Unbeatable. We've been using Jobe's tomato spikes ever since the seventies."
