"I have an older horse with tooth problems, and regular hay is difficult for him to chew as he wads it up and it falls out. When I tried other chopped hays like Dengie etc, he refused it for some reason (he'd eaten it in the past). My equine dentist told me about the TNT Chops product, as her aged mare wouldn't eat dengie either but loved this and is now thriving on it.
Luckily I was able to find it fairly locally (I buy the timothy/alfalfa mix version) and now my horse is eating it, and loving it. I put 4 instead of 5 stars only because I have found that once in a while a bag is overly dry or otherwise not palatable - not sure why - and when this happens my horse won't eat it. However in general I have had wonderful luck with TNT Chops ... my horse and I extremely grateful for it!!
