"Let me say that the mower works great--I've had it six years. It doesn't stall in high grass and the motor has been very satisfactory. The hardware is another matter. On uneven terrain the mower frequently pops out of its height adjustment, which I complained to B & D about. I secured that with a bungy cord. Second was when the retainer for one of the wheels came off and I had to go to the hardware store to get something to keep it on (replacement parts are special order, apparently). At this price, very dissapointing. I would recommend spending the extra money on a cordless from a reputable vendor."
