"I've never written a review on any product before, but felt I had to here.

I bought three of these trellis' last summer and they've been great. They're mounted on an eastern wall of my house - so we had to drill and screw through them - they are supporting Jacob Coat rose bushes (stout climbers in the rose world) and they've been through summer, constant rain/wind and now winter freeze (I'm in the Pacific Northwest) and they've held up beautifully. I also loved the fact that you can buy spray paint specifically for plastic (also at DIB) - mine are black and are now an architectural ornament as well as fully functional.

"These don't even rate a one star, but I had to put something. I was looking for something that I thought would stand up to the elements and provide suitable support for some young hops I'm growing. I purchased a full box (set of 5) of these from our local store. They have proven to be a waste of money. They are brittle and flimsy. One broke immediately out of the box. Another broke when I touched it with the push lawn mower. When the sun hits them, they bend and sag from their own weight. What good is their lifetime warranty if all you get are replacements of the same quality? Save yourself the trouble and get some made of wood. They might fade and need stain once in a while, but at least they'll stand up to their own weight. These might work if you were attaching them to a wall, but even then, you have to be extremely careful when drilling them or they'll break too. I wouldn't recommend these at all to anyone."
