Werner T-1A ALUM PROJECT LADDER

The wide body model No. 283, is the ultimate in project ladders. Constructed of aluminum and plastic (as opposed to steel), it is a 3-step, 4 Star, Type IA ladder with a 300 lb. duty rating. This ladder features the largest standing platform of the Werner line, and also utilizes a safety lock. Like the other models in the Werner step stool line, it features heavy-duty slip-resistant steps, and large rubber nonskid feet. However the model No. 283 features an ergonomic grip and an ultimate utility tray not found on other step stools. Open dimensions: 21-1/2" W. x 36-3/4" D. x 61-3/8" H. Folds to a compact 5-7/8" deep. Working height at platform: 30". Weighs only 22 lb.

"I was so impressed with this ladder that I purchased 3; one for inside my home, one for the garage, and one for my dad. I highly recommend it!!! This ladder has changed how I feel about ladder use and safety. At 5'4" I can easily carry, open, and close this ladder. I love the over-sized steps and platform because it makes installing kitchen cabinets, new windows, drywall...etc. so much easier. They thought of everything when they designing the utility tray. I never worry about my drill falling, paint spilling or misplacing my hammer or screwdriver because everything has it's place on the tray. I honestly could never use another ladder again."
