"I bought my smoker 16 years ago and have made fantastic use of it. My meals are a huge hit at employee and other social gatherings.
With the amount of use it has had over the years, it has held up amazingly well. Although sad to realize the water pan has thinned to non-use and the gratings are sagging.
Happy to report I've just purchased a new smoker. Not bad! Considering its age and volume of use. Delighted to be able to purchase a new one at virtually the same price as 16 years ago.
I prefer the charcoal verses electric version. I use hard wood coals verses charcoal. I utilize cherry, apple, and hickory wood chips for best flavors. Can't live without one and was glad to learn I can still buy one locally for the same price as 16 years ago. Great product!
Buy one, or two. Keep both, or give one away as a gift. Brinkman, keep making them and I will keep promoting them to everyone I know who loves having fun while cooking and eating.
Works great for 26lbs turkeys, whole salmon, trout, sausage, chicken, caribou, shrimp, brisket, bacon wrapped scallops, and just about any/and everything you can think of!
