This fire-retardant can be applied to beds, carpeting, upholstery, drapes, pillows, decorative pillows, sheet rock, unfinished wood, wall paper, natural Christmas trees, cushions, and most absorbent materials. It is not made for application to sleepwear and clothing. Flame-Shield is approved by the state of California fire marshal and by the city of New York. These certifications are 2 of the most stringent in the country. Flame-Shield does not change the characteristics of the treated surface. Materials feel and look the same as before the treatment, without stiffness or residue. Flame-Shield will last until it is washed with water. It can be dry cleaned several times before losing its effectiveness. 14 oz.
